The Chick-fil-A One app is a platform created by Chick-fil-A to offer their loyalty customers three things: fast on the go mobile ordering, instant payment method, and a reward system. Chick-fil-A is a fast food franchise that took the nation by storm. Built on Christian values and professional service, this restaurant quickly developed a loyal fan base. With the rise of gamification among popular stores and franchises, Chick-fil-A decided to give back to their fans. In 2012, the app was born and the chicken was sold!
Balance is an important element to every app. In order for an app to be successful in it’s mission, it must have an efficient amount of every element needed to complete the experience. Chick-fil-A One is not overwhelming. Its layout is clear. It has five tabs. The menu allows you to start an order. Rewards lets you know how many points you have accumulated, what you can redeem them for, and what already redeemed awards are ready to use. The scan tab allows you to scan at the restaurant to gain points or even pay for your order. The for-you tab gives updates through forums and newsletters on new deals, menu items, and other news. And finally, your-order tab displays the mobile order placed and its progress. It balances quick, efficient, and rewarding use.
Having a positive attitude and approach toward a consumer-based app. The presentation of the product should invite usage. With their bright red and white color scheme and top-notch photography, the app brings an atmosphere of familiarity, fun, and friendliness. Being aware of their consumer fan-base and their values, the Chick-fil-A One app has the same attitude as a loving family at Thanksgiving at Grandma’s house.
It is easy as a corporation to lose focus of the audience. It is worth noting the dignity Chick-fil-A gives the children of their customers. Not only is everything put out by them “family friendly,” but they’ve even gone so far as to put out their own kids series on their app.
An honest business is a good business, so that’s why being truth-filled in your marketing and gamification is important. Chick-fil-A One is always up to date and true on the best deal and rewards. They’ll even send you emails and notifications to give out free rewards and discounts or to update you on new deals.
If a company can give inspiration and move a whole industry, it has lots of power. More and more chains have followed Chick-fil-A’s route of developing their mobile ordering app, McDonald’s being the most prominent. Chick-fil-A is one of the first companies to cash in on mobile gamification, adding new interest and desire for their food, inspiring the world of mobile ordering.
The skill developers must have to run a multi-billion-dollar-company app should be high end. This app rarely has any hiccups. It updates regularly and works well on all sorts of network. The developer of Chick-fil-A One skillfully developed a mobile service that could be fast and reliable.
As someone who was 10 when it released, I cannot truly say what their business and marketing was like before, but I know that a company doesn’t push an app like Chick-fil-A’s if it wasn’t for high-end business. As a customer, it must have been extremely relevant and on brand for Chick-fil-A to create a reward system.
Although it is now just one among a thousand mobile ordering apps, Chick-fil-A continues to stand out not only because of their fair and easy reward system, but because their marketing will always continue to draw in families of all kinds. If you love chicken, you love free stuff, and you love friendly company, download the Chick-fil-A app today.
