Review:
Fortnite is a video game that originally released in 2017 and quickly grew in popularity due to its cartoonish features and battle royale concept. 

1. Balance: Fortnite is successful because of its ability to balance shooting, building, looting, and farming resources. The game is both addictive and creative, which often leads to players playing the game for many hours. The key to not playing the game for excessive amounts of time is to practice temperance. In the CCC 1809, it states "Temperance...provides balance in the use of created goods." It is important to manage time spent on the game wisely to ensure that there is a good balance of time. 

2. Attitude Awareness: The competitiveness of Fortnite can lead to a lot of frustrating and anger between teammates who play together on Squads or Duos. This is especially true in losses. The game also fosters a lot of teamwork in order to be successful. It is important for players to stay aware of their attitudes and prioritize fun and respect despite the competitiveness. 

3. Dignity of the Human Person: Fortnite emphasizes the dignity of the human person because every single person has an important role when it comes to being successful. Every teammate has an important role when it comes to communicating with one another and supporting one another. This includes sharing resources and healing. The biggest issue with the concept of human dignity within the game is that the characters are often portrayed as cartoon characters rather than simple human beings. CCC 1929 emphasizes the fact that "Respect for the human person entails respect for the rights that flow from his dignity." 

4. Truth-filled: Fortnite is not the most truth-filled game because it is set in a fantasy world with a lot of characters that are not human beings. This means that truth and realism were not the highest priorities for the developers of the game. 

5. Inspiring: The game's evolving world on top the player's ability to build structures while in combat inspires for players to have quick thinking and creativity to win their battles against other players. On top of that, the Battle Pass within the game inspires players to keep playing the game. They want to continue earning XP, and reach as high of a level as possible to earn more character skins, weapon skins, etc. 

6. Skillfully developed: Fortnite is extremely skillfully developed because of its enhanced graphics and intense gameplay. The developers, Epic Games, update their game constantly, even appealing to older players by bringing back older versions of the game. They also collaborate with many pop-culture brands and celebrities, which brings in a lot of their fans. This allows the game to stay fresh and engaging for its player base. 

7. Motivating: Fortnite is motivating because of its progression system which rewards players for the more eliminations that they are able to get, the longer they are able to survive, and completing in-game challenges. 

All in all, Fortnite does a good job reaching its target audience of young teens and adults by collaborating with many brands that their users engage with. Furthermore, the constant updates and re-branding keep the game fresh and fun for those who play the game constantly.
